Join us for the 2nd NCCC competition of the year. Longhorn Corvette Club proudly uses COAST sanctions to bring you 2 People’s Choice Car Shows and 2 concurrent rallyes. The rallyes will be hidden time and gimmick. The library volunteers/staff will pick their Top 5 cars in one show and the registered participants will have another ballot for the second show. Portion of the registration fees will be donated to the Oakalla Public LIbrary. After the rallyes, while picking our favorite cars, we will choose the best chili made by the Oakalla Public library staff/volunteers.

This is our annual picnic to honor Perry Hampton and his service to our club and country. One member (sometimes it may be a couple) will receive an award for meritorious service to the club. The committee will be approved in January and they will begin setting up the picnic.

Our members have asked for a cruise. Maybe we will go see the newly renovated Battleship Texas then join the Houston clubs for a Corvette Birthday Bash. Stay tuned and come back later. This also kicks off the 250th anniversary celebrations of the United States of America. What better way to celebrate freedom than with a Corvette and the Battleship Texas.

Yes, we are doing this Texas vs OU weekend. If the game is aired at the time of the car show, we will make sure we can watch it. If it is after the scheduled end time, we will set up an after show place to hang out. No matter who you root for, we can all agree cancer needs to be stopped.
