2008 Longhorn Corvette Club Road Trip
This year's LCC Road Trip is to Tombstone Arizona for Corvettes
and Ghostriders.
Join us for a trip that promises to be fun. Arizona has some
of the most spectacular and varied scenery in the United States.
This is a chance to drive your Corvette from the Sonoran Desert floor to
an Alpine resort, and share a weekend with around 200 Corvettes and
their owners.

We will leave Wednesday Morning, Overnight in Las Cruces, NM
Wednesday night, than proceed to Tombstone on Thursday. Please

Corvettes and Ghostriders is from Thursday, October 9th through
Sunday, October 12th.
Some of us plan to drive to Tucson on Sunday and take in some of the tourist attractions. These include:
Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, Old Tucson (one day for both)
Pima Air Museum/Bone yard tour , Mt Lemmon Drive
San Xavier
del Bac Mission (White Dove of the Desert) , visit gift shops
There is a lot of stuff to do around Tucson.
We will leave Tucson and head North. Drive through Oracle Junction, Florence, Apache Junction, Globe, Through the Salt River Canyon, Showlow to Winslow.
We plan on staying at the La Posada on Route 66 in Winslow.
We will than return to Austin. We should be home on Friday, October 17th.
